The air quality monitoring system comprises of a sensor unit and a reader unit. The sensor unit senses abient temperature, humidity and CO2 values. The reader unit connects to a computer via USB. The system runs on a software on computer. This software reads the sensors on scheduled times (as programmed) or instantly when queried. The reading software has the capability to log the sensor parameters in a log file.
The distance of communication is 20-30 meters indoors. The range of communication can be increased by installing intermediate repeater systems. The reader controller communicates with the computer over USB port. The master reader controller queries the distant air quality monitoring system machines and fetches the data over wireless. Every air quality monitor unit has its own address and operates at a specific frequency (channel number). The master controller interacts with a particular AQM with its predefined address.
